Joint-stock company “Kaztemirtrans” is the largest operator of cargo carload park of Republic of Kazakhstan. It was created on October 21, 2003 within the framework of reforming the railway transportation in Kazakhstan. The activity of the company covers such directions, as maintenance of joint-stock company with the rolling-stock, repair, modernization and updating of freight cars, organization of transportations of cargoes on separately taken routes, rendering of transport-forwarding services, including transit communication, granting of freight cars in rent. Within the framework of realization of the state programms on entering of Republic of Kazakhstan in number of 50 competitive countries and introduction into the World Trade Organization (WTO) the financial reporting of joint-stock company “Kaztemirtrans” is given in conformity with the International Standards of the Financial reporting (FIATA). The modern control systems are being introduced in the company. So, in 2005 in JSC “Kaztemirtrans” the System of quality management was introduced on the basis of the international standards ISO of a series 9001:2000. In May, 2008 the international certificates on System of ecological management of the international standard ISO 14001:2004 and System of management of professional safety and protection of work of the international standard OHSAS 18001:2007 were delivered to the joint-stock company. Rating agency “Standard and Poor’s” confirmed the international credit rating “ВВ +” of JSC “Kaztemirtrans” (on international scale/stable) in May, 2008. With the purposes of integration in the world transport markets, expansion of the international partnership, development of transport potential of JSC “Kaztemirtrans” the representations were created one in Urumchi (China) and another in Moscow (Russian Federation). In connection with increasing of volumes of transportations of cargoes into China the agency item was open at station Dostyk. Development of new strategically important routes, increasing of cargo transportations volumes, updating of park of the cargo rolling-stock, introduction of innovating technologies directed on improvement of quality of services, given both large consignors of goods, and representatives of small and average business are in the projects of the company. The company is the valid member of Association of the National Forwarding agents of Republic of Kazakhstan, and also individual member of the International federation of forwarding associations (FIATA). On results of the competition carried out by Association of the National Forwarding agents of Kazakhstan, the joint-stock company “Kaztemirtrans” was recognized the best railway company of 2006 in Kazakhstan.
